Property Manager
Burlington Capital Properties is seeking an experienced and customer-focused Property Manager to lead the day-to-day operations of Village Square Apartments in Broomfield, Colorado. The successful candidate will bring strong property management, leadership, leasing, marketing, organizational, and communication skills, along with a commitment to providing an exceptional experience for residents.

The Successful Property Manager Will- Lead and oversee the day-to-day operations of the property.
- Hire, train, direct, motivate, and support on-site personnel.
- Set expectations, provide direction, coach employees, and hold team members accountable.
- Interact and communicate effectively with employees, residents, prospective residents, vendors, and the general public.
- Oversee leasing, marketing, resident retention, and customer service functions.
- Support occupancy and retention goals through effective leasing and resident-relations strategies.
- Prioritize workloads and provide direction to on-site personnel to ensure property needs are addressed effectively.
- Conduct regular property inspections and help maintain the community to established standards.
- Address resident concerns and operational issues using effective problem-solving and conflict-resolution skills.
- Oversee financial operations, including collections, deposits, recordkeeping, expense allocation, and adherence to budget guidelines.
- Monitor property expenses and assist with maintaining the property within established budget requirements.
- Maintain accurate records and complete required reports and documentation in a timely manner.
- Participate in meetings, training, and other company or property events as required.
- Perform other duties and responsibilities as assigned.
- Minimum of five years of property management experience required.
- Prior leadership or supervisory experience preferred.
- Tax Credit experience preferred.
- Strong experience with leasing, marketing, resident relations, and resident retention.
- Demonstrated ability to lead, motivate, train, and support an on-site team.
- Strong problem-solving and conflict-resolution skills.
- Excellent organizational and interpersonal skills with strong attention to detail.
- Ability to work independently with minimal supervision while contributing effectively to a team.
- Ability to use computers and available technology to accomplish job duties, including communication, reporting, and recordkeeping.
- Basic math and bookkeeping skills.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills.
- Ability to interact positively and professionally with residents, employees, vendors, and the general public.
- Ability to sit, stand, walk, bend, stoop, and move throughout the property as needed to perform job duties.
- Ability to walk throughout the community and conduct property inspections and apartment tours.
- Ability to use stairs and navigate buildings and grounds as necessary.
- Ability to use a computer, telephone, and other office equipment for extended periods.
- Ability to occasionally lift, carry, push, or pull materials and supplies necessary to perform job duties.
