Job Title: Steward Dishwasher

Salary/Shift: $20+ an hour

Status: Full Time

Shift: Varies

Located in beautiful Black Hawk, CO, the Monarch Resort Spa seeks a Steward Dishwasher to join our team! You will thrive in a fast-paced, high-volume environment that exceeds the expectations of our guests and team.

• Dishwashing and Equipment Operation: Operate industrial dishwashers, glass washers, and a 3-compartment sink; wash dishes and items by hand when necessary.
• Sanitation and Cleaning: Follow sanitation policies, clean trash receptacles, stock hand washing supplies, and frequently sanitize table tops and galley equipment.
• Galley Maintenance: Broom and mop the galley area as needed; perform occasional deep cleaning of restaurant areas.
• Equipment Cleaning: Clean deep fat fryers, grills, and flat tops as needed to ensure proper operation.
• Team Support: Assist prep cooks and other kitchen staff as needed, and follow supervisors’ instructions.

• Age and Physical Stamina: Must be at least 18 years old and able to stand for the entire shift.
• Physical Abilities: Capable of bending, stooping, using hands continuously, and lifting up to 25 lbs regularly and up to 45 lbs occasionally.
• Environmental Conditions: Ability to work in hot and/or humid environments.
• Shift Flexibility: Must be available to work all shifts, including weekends and holidays, and be flexible with shift timings.
• Background Checks: Successfully pass a pre-employment criminal background check and drug screen.
