Job Summary

Customer Experience Guide – Seasonal Team. Retail

Telluride, CO. Store Scope:
Customer Service In‑Person, CF2.

Reports To:

Retail Store General Manager. Pay Range: $24.25 – $26.25 per hour. Seasonal 3‑4 month contract (not more than 19 hours per week or 76 hours per month). Seasonal employees are eligible for sick leave benefits and in‑store discounts.

Key Responsibilities
  • Deliver best‑in‑class service by centering the customer in everything we do.
  • Utilize sales sense skills and connect communities to a life outdoors.
  • Answer phones, manage events, support front‑of‑house and back‑of‑house operations, inventory flow, and handle in‑store repairs while communicating with the leadership team.
  • Process shipments, support physical inventory, restock the sales floor, and assist with sale prep, breakdown, product transfers, and donations.
  • Maintain visual store standards by folding, hanging, buffing, steaming, dressing mannequins, stocking the floor, and keeping the store neat.
  • Practice security measures to prevent theft, resolve safety situations, and maintain a clean, organized environment.
Qualifications
  • Proven customer service and/or sales skills with experience in retail or related customer service.
  • Basic understanding of our products and willingness to learn.
  • Strong problem‑solving skills and a courteous approach to resolving issues.
  • Effective communication skills with team members and leadership.
  • Adaptable to changing situations and priorities with ability to pivot on the fly.
  • Excellent organizational skills, attention to detail, and ability to prioritize tasks based on urgency and importance.
  • Time‑management skills: show up on time, meet deadlines, and communicate issues across functions.
  • Self‑motivated and able to thrive in a team‑oriented environment.
  • Basic math and computer skills with accuracy handling money and registers (preferred).
Physical Requirements

Stand or walk for extended periods of time with shifts up to 8 hours per day, reach overhead, bend, squat, kneel, and carry products. Lift up to 55 pounds, climb ladders, and perform cleaning tasks such as sweeping, vacuuming, and trash removal.

Schedule

Store open seven days a week (10am–6pm). Seasonal positions require under 19 hours with at least one weekend day, flexibility with shift start/end up to two hours before or after business hours, and willingness to adapt to business needs.
