Summary Description
This seasonal part‑time position is responsible for expertly providing quality tune‑ups and repairs, building bikes, and giving world-class customer service which contributes to the success of the team and the entire company. This is a summer seasonal role with the opportunity to transition into a winter seasonal role.
Essential Functions- Serve as a knowledgeable resource to customers.
- Demonstrate a professional standard of customer service.
- Assess service needs with customers.
- Inspect, repair, and service customers’ bicycles.
- Assist in generating bike and accessory sales while working with the customer.
- Complete accurate paperwork.
- Prioritize work orders efficiently to expedite service.
- Remain current on industry products and trends, demonstrating product knowledge.
- Protect company assets through loss‑prevention techniques.
- Work in a safe manner.
- Perform other duties as assigned.
- Passion for cycling/bicycles.
- Minimum of 1 year bike mechanic experience in a retail store.
- Experience with various bike components, service tools, and machinery.
- Ability to routinely lift merchandise and packages of at least 50 pounds.
- Ability to build all levels of bikes from the box to a safe, ride‑ready bike.
- Ability to stand and move in an active, team‑oriented environment for extended periods.
- Fluent communication in spoken and written English.
- Basic computer skills.

Budgeted RangeBudgeted range starts at: $20–$22 per hour. Actual pay will be adjusted based on experience.
