Our Sales Associates are responsible for greeting customers, providing honest and informative answers to questions, making suggestions about products that customers might want, and performing necessary tasks for efficient department operation. Responsibilities include stocking shelves, tracking down products for customers, keeping the department tidy, relaying customer feedback to their manager, and assisting with visual merchandising of products in the store.

• Accurately processing payments
• Helping with displays and visual merchandising
• Maintaining a clean and well‑stocked area
• Learning about products to provide better answers to customer questions
• Safely shifting and moving products, including some awkward or heavy items
• Assisting in loss prevention efforts
• Communicating professionally
• Presenting a professional appearance and demeanor
• Taking steps to advance teamwork and develop solid working relationships with co‑workers
• Assisting in inventory responsibilities

Our ideal candidate has prior customer service experience, and is willing to pitch‑in where needed. Additional knowledge, skills or abilities include:

• Engaging and positive manner required to put our customers at ease
• Expertise in a specific sales category (or two or three) is preferred
• Previous knowledge or experience with brands carried by JAX preferred
• Cashiering experience desired
• Computer proficiency required
• Works well with others
• Organizational skills
• Attention to detail

• Must be available at least one weekend day
• Looking for someone with open availability

$15.16 - $16.25 hourly
