The Senior Accountant provides advanced professional accounting support to the Chief Financial Officer and plays a key role in maintaining the County's financial integrity. This position manages complex accounting processes, ensures compliance with County, State, and Federal requirements, oversees workflow within the Finance team, and prepares accurate and timely financial reports.
Pay RateStarting salary range is from $7,365.17 to $8,953.71 depending on experience, plus full benefits.
* The County pays monthly on the last week day of the month.*

Requirements- Must possess a valid Colorado driver's license.
- Must complete IC S 100 and IC S 700 within the first year of employment.
- Bachelor's degree in accounting, finance, business/public administration, or related field; five years of progressively responsible government accounting or finance experience; or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
- Strong Excel skills (VLOOKUP, Pivot Tables, IF functions) required.
- Strong quantitative and analytical abilities.
