Lead Budtender - Plainz Strains of Log Lane Village

Come join the growing field of cannabis! We are searching for a full time Lead Budtender for High Plainz Strains of Log Lane Village!

General Info:
Candidates with a current badge to work in the cannabis industry in Colorado will be given heavy preference.

This is a full time position, regularly scheduled 32-35 hours per week, with overtime when needed. Typically schedule for 5 shifts per week. This position requires open availability, since the store will be open from 8am - 10:00am daily, including holidays and weekends. The only day the store is closed is Christmas Day.

The ideal candidate should have a diverse skill set, including experience in customer service and cash handling. Previous retail management experience is a big plus, and familiarity with the cannabis industry is highly valued. We seek someone with a positive attitude who enjoys interacting with both customers and team members, and who is organized and adaptable in a fast-paced, ever-evolving environment.

As we operate in a highly regulated industry, strict adherence to rules, regulations, and established SOPs is essential. Strong ethical standards are a must, as you will be responsible for handling both product and cash on a daily basis.

Pay - $17/hour plus tips that are recorded and taxed.

Basic Functions of the Job:

• Greet customers, answer questions, and provide professional assistance
• Supervises daily operations during shifts, ensuring all team members take their breaks and lunches.
• Manages discounts and pricing issues in the Point of Sale (POS) system.
• Maintains a clean and organized store environment, preparing it for customers at the start of your shift and ensuring it remains tidy throughout the shift.
• Opens the store as needed, ensuring cash drawers are prepared and balanced for the day.
• Closes the store when required, including reconciling cash in the drawer, safe, and ATM.
• Addresses escalated customer service issues as they arise.
• Ensures compliance with all regulations set forth by the Marijuana Enforcement Division (MED).
• Tracks cash movement between drawers and the safe throughout the day, including cash payments for supplies.
• Counts and records all tips at the end of each shift, ensuring the Front Desk Receptionist receives their share.
