Safety Officer - Silverthorne

Ice Castles is an awe-inspiring, must-see winter phenomenon that brings fairy tales to life. The frozen attraction is located in cities across North America. Ice Castles is built entirely by hand using hundreds of thousands of icicles hand-placed by professional ice artists. The castles include breathtaking LED-lit sculptures, frozen thrones, ice-carved tunnels, slides, and fountains.

At Ice Castles, we have fun at our jobs and create lifelong memories for our guests. We also want to ensurethatallofour guests and staff are safe as they enjoy the wonders of the Castle. To accomplish this, we retain a team of specialized personnel to ensure the safety of ourattractionand respond to any incidents that may occur on our premises.

As the Safety Officer, you will be responsible for maintaining a safe environment for our patrons and staff, both by eliminating physical hazards and promoting safe behavior inside the attraction. Safety staff also respond to any incidents within the premises, from minor injuries to medical emergencies, and help coordinateevacuationof the attraction if deemed necessary.

• Inspects the premises prior to opening andaddressespotential hazards
• Promotes safe behavior among our patrons and staff
• Provides basic first aid to patrons and staff with minor injuries
• In the event of a medical emergency,administer scare and monitors the patient until EMS personnel arrive.
• In the event of a site-wide emergency,assistsin coordinating the evacuation of the premises

Current first-aid/EMS certifications preferred. Must be able to work outside in varying weather conditions. Must have good customer-service skills and be able to perform tasks under pressure.
