Schedule: Sunday to Thursday | Hours vary based on operational coverage needs

Typical Days Off: Friday and Saturday

Citadel Security USA is currently seeking a Part‑Time Armed Security Officer to provide flexible coverage support for a critical infrastructure location in Dillon. This position helps maintain site operations during schedule gaps, employee absences, and additional staffing needs while supporting a secure and controlled environment. The assignment requires an adaptable individual who can move between access control duties and patrol responsibilities while following detailed procedures and maintaining a professional presence throughout each shift.

• Verify credentials and authorize entries at designated access points
• Perform mobile patrols throughout the property to monitor site activity and security conditions
• Maintain a visible armed presence to support site safety and operational security
• Identify and report suspicious activity, hazards, trespassing, or unauthorized access attempts
• Respond to incidents, alarms, or emergency situations according to established procedures
• Complete patrol logs, activity records, and incident documentation accurately and on time
• Communicate professionally with supervisors, dispatch personnel, and site representatives
• Follow all site regulations, post orders, and company operational standards
• Assist with maintaining order and supporting overall site operations during staffing adjustments
• Operate assigned vehicles responsibly while complying with company and traffic safety guidelines

• Must meet all Colorado requirements for armed security personnel
• Personal firearms are required and must be carried in accordance with state law and company policy
• Valid driver’s license with reliable transportation
• Ability to work flexible schedules and fill shifts based on operational needs
• Strong attention to detail and situational awareness
• Dependable attendance and professional conduct required

• Active armed certifications or related security credentials
• Prior experience in armed patrol, infrastructure security, or controlled‑access environments
• Familiarity with report writing, access control systems, or high‑security operations

• Combination of vehicle patrol, foot patrol, and stationary access control assignments
• Indoor and outdoor responsibilities depending on operational needs
• Position may involve extended standing, walking, or driving during shifts
• Schedule flexibility is important due to changing staffing and coverage demands
