Security Officer - Mobile Patrol

Schedules: Wednesday to Saturday: 6:00 PM - 6:00 AM | Sunday to Tuesday: 6:00 PM - 6:00 AM

Citadel Security USA is seeking dependable and self-motivated security professionals for an overnight Mobile Patrol Officer position serving multiple client locations throughout the Sheridan area. This role is ideal for individuals who enjoy working independently, staying active throughout their shift, and taking ownership of assigned responsibilities. Officers travel between properties, conduct security inspections, respond to service needs, and help protect client assets during overnight hours.

As a Mobile Patrol Officer, your responsibilities may include:

• Driving scheduled patrol routes and conducting security inspections at assigned properties
• Checking doors, gates, parking areas, exterior grounds, and other designated locations
• Identifying signs of unauthorized activity, vandalism, safety hazards, or property damage
• Responding to alarm activations, lockout requests, and other service-related calls
• Maintaining regular communication with dispatch, supervisors, and field personnel
• Preparing accurate patrol reports, incident documentation, and shift activity records
• Following site-specific procedures and client security requirements
• Providing a professional and visible security presence across multiple locations
• Operating patrol vehicles safely while adhering to traffic laws and company standards

• Valid driver's license with an acceptable driving record
• Minimum two years of experience in mobile patrol, security operations, field services, or a related position
• Ability to work overnight 12-hour shifts on a consistent schedule
• Strong observation and decision-making skills
• Effective written and verbal communication abilities
• Ability to work independently with minimal supervision
• Reliable attendance and professional workplace conduct

• Previous experience of responding to alarms or after-hours service calls
• Familiarity with electronic reporting systems and mobile documentation platforms
• Experience covering multiple client locations during a single shift
• Strong problem-solving abilities and situational awareness

• Driving between multiple client properties throughout the shift
• Indoor and outdoor patrol responsibilities
