Loss Prevention Manager III

Job Description

Monitors and administers safety, environmental, and security programs/issues at assigned exchanges or distribution centers.

• Conduct internal/external inquiries involving incidents of pilferage, fraud, waste, abuse, misconduct, accidents, and other issues as determined by the Regional Loss Prevention Manager.
• Monitor e-commerce and online transactions.
• Conduct and/or supervise OSHA, environmental, and loss prevention inspections and surveys; recommend and implement program modifications to increase operational efficiencies and effectiveness.
• Assist manage the Exchange Information and Personnel Security Program if required.
• Conduct interviews, obtain written statements, and prepare relevant case reports and files.
• Coordinate with local police and courts on theft prosecutions.
• Serve as liaison with command, law enforcement, legal, and Exchange management on loss prevention activities.
• Provide training to associates, including new hires, profit protection, OSHA, and internal controls.
• Oversee equipment management, including CCTV, EAS, safety products, fire suppression systems, and vehicles; may oversee contract guard services and coordinate coverage at distribution centers.
• Perform other duties as assigned.

• Five years of loss prevention or management experience that includes investigations/audits, report writing, planning, and goal setting; UTP Level III required.
• OR Bachelor's degree and three years of loss prevention or management experience that includes investigations/audits and report writing; UTP Level III required.
• UTP Level III completion can be verified by one of the following courses:
  • 2007-Exchange Detective Certification
  • 2212 - Uniform Training Plan for SS Specialists
  • 2220 - Uniform Training Plan - Exchange Detectives
  • 2261 - Exchange Detective Training
  • 2282 - Certification of Exchange Detective
  • 3157 - UTP Exchange Detective
  • 3158 - UTP Safety and Security
  • 3162 - UTP DR Safety and Security Spec/Tech
  • 010U - UTP Loss Prevention Manager
  • 317S - Level 1 Certification
  • 318S - Level 2 Certification
  • 319S - Level 3 Certification
  • 321S - Level 4 Certification
  • 322A - Level 5 Certification
  • 323S - Level 6 Certification

• Bachelor's degree preferred.
• Preferred majors:
  Business Management, Criminal Justice, Finance.
• Work schedule:
  
  Onsite (Ft. Carson).
• PCS authorized for eligible associates.
• Occasional TDY travel required.

$72,064.00
