Casino Door Greeter

Overview

The Door Greeter is primarily responsible for verifying guest identification to ensure compliance with state gaming regulations and company policies. This role plays a critical part in preventing underage gaming and maintaining a safe, secure, and compliant environment, while also delivering a welcoming first impression for all guests.

• Check and verify valid government-issued identification of guests entering the casino to ensure legal gaming age compliance
• Refuse entry to underage or improperly identified individuals in a professional and respectful manner
• Maintain strict adherence to state regulations and Golden Nugget policies regarding age verification
• Monitor entry points to ensure only eligible guests access the gaming floor
• Greet guests in a friendly and professional manner while performing s
• Identify fraudulent, expired, or altered identification and notify Security as needed
• Document or report incidents involving denied entry or suspicious activity
• Provide directions and basic property information when appropriate;
  Assist Security with crowd control and entrance flow during busy periods and events
• Maintain a visible, alert presence at assigned post at all times

• High school diploma or equivalent preferred
• Previous security, hospitality, or
  -checking experience strongly preferred
• Strong attention to detail, especially when verifying identification
• Knowledge of acceptable forms of  basic fraud indicators preferred
• Excellent communication and conflict-resolution skills
• Ability to remain firm, professional, and calm when denying entry

USD $15.50 - USD $15.50 /Hr.

This position does not earn tips
