Deputy Sheriff – Co-Response
Chaffee County seeks a Deputy Sheriff for the Co-Response Program. This position plays a vital role in connecting individuals in crisis with the help they need while keeping our community safe.
In this role, you will partner with Co-Response Clinicians to respond to behavioral health, substance use, homelessness, and other crisis-related calls. The ideal candidate is a dedicated peace officer committed to serving the community with professionalism, compassion, and sound judgment.
Qualifications- Minimum age 21 years.
- High school diploma or GED equivalent.
- POST certified.
- Advanced training in investigations, evidence collection, and narcotics.
- CPR and First Aid certification.
Full-time, non-exempt, hourly position. Wage range: $35.67 to $37.00, DOE.
