Job Overview:

Step into a vital position where vigilance, professionalism, and integrity are essential. As a Security Officer at Monarch Casino Resort Spa, you will help maintain a safe, secure, and welcoming environment for guests, team members, and company assets. This role supports daily security operations throughout the property while delivering exceptional guest service in a fast-paced casino resort environment.

The Security Officer monitors property activity, conducts age verification checks, responds to incidents, assists with emergency situations, and works closely with internal departments and outside agencies as needed. This position requires strong communication skills, sound judgment, attention to detail, and the ability to remain calm and professional in high-pressure situations.

Responsibilities:

Conduct regular s throughout the Monarch Black Hawk property to ensure all guests on property are at least 21 years of age.

Provide the highest level of guest service at all times while maintaining a professional and approachable presence.

Patrol assigned areas of the property to help ensure the safety and security of guests, team members, and company assets.

Maintain physical surveillance of the Monarch Black Hawk property and report suspicious or unusual activity.

Respond promptly to incidents, guest concerns, emergencies, and requests for security assistance.

Take charge of and administer emergency first aid to injured or ill guests and team members, as needed.

Conduct post-accident and suspicion-based drug screens in accordance with company policy.

Take appropriate action when individuals are suspected of illegal, unsafe, or disruptive activity.

Assist with monetary transactions between Guest Services, Table Games, Slots, and other departments when requested.

Maintain accurate documentation, reports, and logs related to incidents, investigations, and daily security activity.

Support compliance with applicable gaming regulations, company policies, internal controls, and security procedures.

Maintain liaison with outside agencies to facilitate the exchange of mutually beneficial information.

Work collaboratively with Surveillance, Guest Services, Gaming Operations, and other departments to support property operations.

Promote a safe, respectful, and service-focused environment for all guests and team members.
