Senior Supermarket Rack Refrigeration HVAC Technician

Walmart is expanding our workforce across local retail stores and is actively recruiting a Senior Supermarket Rack Refrigeration HVAC Technician. If you possess relevant experience in this field, please bring your skills to our fast‑paced and welcoming work environment.

• Maintain and repair Walmart facilities’ refrigeration HVAC equipment and assets using commercial HVAC and refrigeration skills and hand, digital, and power tools.
• Utilize the work order management system to receive repair work orders, support stores and store associates, and document repair activities.
• Provide a prompt response to emergency maintenance calls.
• Inspect, operate, or test facilities, equipment, or fixtures to diagnose issues.
• Complete all required training to operate equipment and tools safely.
• Ensure compliance with OSHA and EPA regulations and guidelines by performing work according to Walmart refrigeration HVAC safety policy and environmental guidelines.
• Lift up to 75 pounds, move up and down ladders, and work comfortably at heights frequently.

• 10 years’ experience in commercial refrigeration HVAC maintenance.
• Type I/Type II or Universal EPA certification for refrigerant handling.
• Valid state‑issued driver’s license with a clean driving record and ability to pass an MVR report.
• 18 years or older with a high school diploma or equivalent.

• 8 years’ experience in HVAC/grocery rack refrigeration and an AAS in A/C and refrigeration.
• Completion of a 2‑year technical/vocational HVAC/R program or 2‑year associate’s of applied science A/C and refrigeration.
• Excellent driving record.
• Prior work experience with glycol and CO₂ systems.
