Full-time Responsibilities:
- Operate various types of heavy equipment, including but not limited to excavators, bulldozers, loaders, graders, and cranes.
- Safely and efficiently perform tasks such as excavation, grading, leveling, loading, and material handling.
- Conduct routine inspections and maintenance of equipment to ensure proper functioning and identify any issues.
- Adhere to all safety guidelines and regulations to minimize accidents and maintain a safe work environment.
- Collaborate with team members and supervisors to ensure efficient workflow and project completion within deadlines.
- Keep accurate records of daily activities, including equipment usage, fuel consumption, and maintenance performed.
- Follow project plans, blueprints, and instructions to meet specifications and achieve desired outcomes.
- Identify potential hazards and take appropriate measures to mitigate risks.
- Minimum of 5 years of experience as a Heavy Equipment Operator.
- Proficiency in operating a variety of heavy machinery, including excavators, bulldozers, loaders, graders, and cranes.
- CDL License a PLUS and any other valid and up-to-date heavy equipment operator's license or certification.
- Strong knowledge of safety procedures and protocols related to heavy equipment operations.
- Ability to read and interpret project plans, blueprints, and technical manuals.
- Excellent hand-eye coordination and manual dexterity.
- Physical stamina to withstand long hours of sitting, standing, and operating heavy machinery.
- Effective communication skills and ability to work well within a team.
- Flexibility to work in different weather conditions and environments.
