Job Type: Full-Time | Field-Based
Pay Rate: $28-$35/hr (Based on Experience)
Schedule:
Monday – Friday, 7:00 AM – 3:30 PM (On-Call as Needed)

Industrial | Field-Based Across Multiple Colorado Sites
We are seeking a reliable and skilled Heavy Equipment Field Mechanic to service and repair a variety of heavy construction equipment and fleet vehicles. This is a field-based role requiring travel to job sites throughout Colorado, with lodging and per diem provided when needed. The ideal candidate is a self-starter with strong mechanical, diagnostic, and communication skills.
Key Responsibilities- Inspect, diagnose, and repair heavy equipment (excavators, dozers, loaders, skid steers, etc.) and fleet trucks (3500s, semis, trailers)
- Perform preventative maintenance and maintain service logs via mobile apps
- Manage parts sourcing and procurement using a company card (post-probation)
- Travel to remote project sites (e.g., Idaho Springs, South Pueblo, Rocky Ford)
- Conduct welding repairs as necessary
- Keep service vehicle clean and fully equipped
- Ensure all work adheres to safety protocols and timelines
- Experience:
5+ years in heavy equipment maintenance (field experience preferred) - Licensing:
Valid driver's license with clean MVR (CDL preferred) - Technical
Skills:
Proficiency in diesel engines, hydraulics, diagnostics, and welding - Physical Requirements:
Ability to lift 50 lbs, work outdoors year-round, and climb equipment - Must pass a pre-employment physical and 10-panel drug screen
- Ability to work independently with minimal supervision
- Comfortable using mobile devices and apps for work documentation
- Hourly Rate: $28–$35/hr (depending on experience and tooling)
