Instrumentation/Electrical Technician | Lockheed Martin
Instrumentation involves measuring, monitoring, and controlling process variables (e.g., pressure, temperature, flow, level) through sensors, transmitters, and controllers to ensure safety, efficiency, and automation. An electrical technician applies electrical/electronic theory to help engineers design, develop, test, and maintain electrical equipment, assembling and troubleshooting complex systems. Together, they integrate measurement and control hardware with hands-on expertise to support reliable, testing and data gathering.
• An understanding of instrumentation set up and data gathering
• An understanding of Electrical wiring and testing of 120, 220, and 440 volt equipment
• Trouble shooting skills for both instrumentation and Electrical systems
• Must be a US Citizen with the ability to obtain and hold a secret clearance
• Set up instrumentation and data collecting systems.
• Training in electrical systems, being able to put cords on coolers, heaters, chambers, ovens, etc. along with verifying phasing and motors are spinning in the correct direction.
• Work with a team to set up and run instrumentation/ electrical and data gathering systems.
• Ability to help troubleshoot systems
• Knowledge of automated systems
This position requires a government security clearance, you must be a US Citizen for consideration. This position requires a Secret security clearance.

Pay Rate:
The annual base salary range for this position in California, Massachusetts, and New York (excluding most major metropolitan areas), Colorado, Hawaii, Illinois, Maryland, Minnesota, New Jersey, Vermont, Washington or Washington DC is $51,800 - $91,310. For states not referenced above, the salary range for this position will reflect the candidate's final work location. Please note that the salary information is a general guideline only.
Lockheed Martin considers factors such as (but not limited to) scope and responsibilities of the position, candidate's work experience, education/ training, key skills as well as market and business considerations when extending an offer. Benefits offered:
