This position will report onsite at Systex (SPC) with possible rotation to DMMI.

Minimum QualificationsHigh School diploma or G.E.D. equivalent required. Must be a Machine Repair or Electrician Journeyperson (as recognized by the Department of Labor) or have 5 years equivalent machine repair or electrician experience working with a recognized Machine Repair or Electrician Journeyperson.

NOTE:
Associates must meet most job requirements at time of bid year (possess approximately 75% of requirements as outlined in the job posting.) and demonstrate ability to meet full scope of job requirements within one year.
The associate should be able to PM, repair, replace or rebuild the items as listed in the requirements column below:
- Safety Familiarization – Review of safety hazards unique to the position
- HMI/PLC – Be able to go online Basic programming / Editing Upload / Download Troubleshooting / Search / Create program backups
- Servos – Be able to go online Upload / Download Troubleshooting / Search
- Robots – Upload / Download Troubleshooting / Search Motor and cable replacements Controller replacement
• Climb out on robots to repair using the 5-point harness - Molding M/C’s – Injection molding
- General Operation – N2 testers – Function testers – Motor press – Fan balance
- Rigging – Must understand DMMI lifting procedures
More than 2 years in current position unless promo table.
Last Performance Appraisal Meets or Better.
No Active Written Discipline.
Must be able to perform the essential functions of the position.
Length of service (LOS) for journey persons who have successfully completed DMMI's apprenticeship training program and are posting within the skilled trades area, will be based on the date of entry into the apprenticeship training program.
