General Foreman

We are looking for a General Foreman to work on our project in Edwards, Colorado.

Job Responsibilities:

  • Lead daily crew assignments; complete Weekly Work Plans and ensure the right tools and materials are on site at least 2 weeks ahead of schedule
  • Create the Plan of the Day and Pre Task Plan; run daily stretch & flex with the crew
  • Know estimated productivity for each task; track actuals, compare to estimates, and adjust to meet or beat goals
  • Assist the Superintendent and Assistant Superintendent in managing subcontractors
  • Keep the crew organized — store extra materials properly, maintain tool inventory, and lock up daily
  • Ensure all crew members and subcontractors have proper PPE and training; hold the team accountable to Haselden safety standards
  • Report all near misses, first aids, and safety concerns to the Superintendent immediately
  • Verify daily equipment inspection logs (forklift, skid steer, boom lift, scissor lift)
  • Supervise daily tool inspections; remove any out-of-spec tools from service immediately
  • Inspect personal fall arrest systems regularly; take damaged equipment out of service
  • Participate in weekly site safety audits with the Superintendent and Project Manager
  • Ensure proper installation and maintenance of site fence, straw wattling, concrete washout pits, tracking pads, rock socks, and other stormwater BMPs
  • Train crew to read and work from current blueprints — structural, architectural, MEP, rebar shop drawings, and lift drawings
  • Record concrete quantities and productivity units daily; complete pre- and post-pour checklists and quality control
  • Inspect shoring systems, falsework, and reshoring for compliance with specs and drawings

Job Qualifications:

  • 7-10 years of commercial construction experience with previous responsibility for leading field crews.
  • Strong knowledge of construction safety, quality, planning, and productivity.
  • Ability to read and interpret construction drawings and specifications.
  • Strong communication, organization, and problem-solving skills.
  • Comfortable using computers, tablets, email, and construction-management software.
  • OSHA 10 certification preferred.
  • Reliable transportation to assigned project locations.
  • Must pass a background check and drug test (required)

Physical Requirements:

  • Must be able to perform physically demanding work in an active construction environment.
  • Frequently lifts, carries, pushes, and pulls materials up to 50 lbs.; may occasionally lift or move heavier materials with assistance.
  • Regularly stands, walks, bends, kneels, squats, climbs, reaches, and works for extended periods.
  • May work indoors, outdoors, at heights, on uneven surfaces, around equipment, and in varying weather conditions.
  • Must be able to wear required PPE and follow all jobsite safety requirements.

Pay: The pay for this position is $29.00 - $35.00 per hour, paid weekly.
