Whiletravelisaprimarycomponentofthisrole,schedulesandassignmentsmayvarybasedonbusinessneeds.
- Install,splice,terminate,test,troubleshoot,andrepairfiberopticsystems
- Readandinterpretprojectplans,maps,schematics,andconstructiondrawings
- Assistwiththeconstruction,installation,andmaintenanceoftelecommunicationsinfrastructure
- Operatesafelyinoutdoorenvironmentsandvaryingweatherconditions
- Traveltoprojectsitesthroughouttheregionandcountryasassigned
- Participateinanon-callrotationtosupportemergencyoutagesandservicerestoration
- Completerequireddocumentation,reports,andprojectupdatesaccuratelyandtimely
- Maintaincompanyvehicles,tools,andequipmentinasafeandprofessionalmanner
- Adheretoallcompanysafetypolicies,customer requirements,andindustrystandards
- ValidU.S.driver'slicensewithanacceptablemotorvehiclerecord
- Abilityandwillingnesstotravelextensively,includingoccasionalairtravel
- Abilitytoliftandcarryupto
