Maintenance Mechanic, Coffee Roasting Facility

Repair, maintain, rebuild and upgrade all machinery in plant. This Team Member is responsible for lockout/tag out, SOPs, training, audits and machine rebuilds. Will ensure preventative maintenance programs are completed on a timely basis, as well as respond to daily maintenance requests.

• Responsible for all maintenance and repair on coffee roasters, scales and packaging machines
• Perform the scheduled preventative maintenance on all production-related equipment.
• Complete special maintenance projects.
• Respond to daily maintenance work orders on a timely basis.
• Assist in project planning and construction.
• Identify, troubleshoot and resolve maintenance-related problems.

Knowledge, Skills, & Abilities

• Knowledge of electric, pneumatic and mechanical systems.
• Must be able to read and understand operator manuals.
• Must have knowledge of and experience with power and hand tools, basic electrical troubleshooting and plumbing, sheet metal fabrication and welding
• Able to read and understand schematics, blueprints
• Must have the flexibility to work overtime hours as required
• Must be able to lift up to 100 lbs

Desired Work Experiences

• Maintenance technician (1 year)
• Coffee manufacturing preferred

The wage range for this position is $22.15-$38.70 Hourly, commensurate with experience. Whole Foods Market offers "Whole Benefits".
