Job Summary
We are seeking an experienced AV / Smart Home Technician to install, configure, troubleshoot, and service residential technology systems in luxury homes. The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience with AV, networking, low-voltage wiring, electrical systems, security, or smart home technology.
AV HOME TECHNICIANLocation:
Telluride , Colorado
Residential AV experience is preferred but not required for the right candidate.
Primary Responsibilities- Install and configure TVs, projectors, home theaters, architectural speakers, and whole-home audio systems.
- Install, terminate, test, and label Cat6, fiber, coax, speaker, and control wiring.
- Install networking equipment including switches, Wi-Fi access points, and structured wiring.
- Install surveillance cameras, video doorbells, touchscreens, and video distribution systems.
- Install lighting control systems, motorized shades, and power panels.
- Build, wire, label, and organize equipment racks.
- Read construction drawings and coordinate with builders, electricians, and designers.
- Troubleshoot, test, and service installed systems.
- Provide professional customer service in luxury residential environments.
- Maintain clean, organized, and professional work areas.
- Ensure installations are completed accurately and according to project specifications.

- Ability to terminate, test, label, and troubleshoot various cable types.
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality workmanship.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Professional communication and customer service skills.
- Ability to work in luxury residential construction environments.
- Relevant certifications or manufacturer training are a plus.
