Commercial Equipment Installation Technician
Auto-Chlor System is hiring a hands-on, mechanically experienced Installation Technician to install commercial dishwashing and sanitation equipment throughout the Denver market.
This is not an entry-level mechanical position. We will provide comprehensive training on our commercial dishwashing equipment, but we're looking for someone who already knows their way around hand and power tools, understands basic mechanical systems, and is comfortable troubleshooting problems in the field.
What You'll DoYou'll be the primary installer for the branch, working independently at customer locations to complete equipment installations ranging from smaller counter top units to larger commercial machines with conveyor attachments.
Responsibilities include:
- Install commercial dishwashing and sanitation equipment at customer locations
- Assemble, connect, adjust, and test equipment to ensure proper operation
- Use hand and power tools to complete installations
- Troubleshoot mechanical, plumbing, and basic electrical issues during installation
- Determine solutions when an installation does not go exactly as planned
- Work independently and manage installations from start to finish
- Train restaurant and commercial kitchen staff on proper equipment operation
- Explain basic equipment care, cleaning, startup, and shutdown procedures
- Maintain a professional relationship with customers throughout the installation process
We're looking for someone who already has a strong mechanical foundation.
Strong backgrounds may include:
- HVAC installation or service
- Plumbing
- Field service technician
- Commercial equipment installation or repair
- Industrial or mechanical maintenance
- Millwright or mechanical construction
- Automotive, diesel, marine, or equipment repair
- Hand and power tools
- Mechanical troubleshooting and diagnostics
- Installing, repairing, or maintaining equipment
- Working independently without another technician beside you
- Communicating with customers and explaining how equipment works
- Lifting and maneuvering equipment weighing up to 75 lbs.
- $27/hr., plus overtime and on-call pay
- Monday–Friday, 7:00 AM–3:30 PM
- First-year earnings approximately $65,000–$75,000

- Ability to work in restaurant and commercial kitchen environments
- Ability to participate in an on-call rotation approximately one weekday per month and one weekend every six weeks

We will train you on our machines. You should already bring the mechanical foundation.
