Experienced Marine Service Technician

Our client is looking for an experienced, well-rounded Marine Service Technician who enjoys a mix of diagnostics, mechanical work, and hands-on time in the yard. This is a role for someone who takes pride in solving problems and wants to be part of a growing operation that is included in an intimate Chespeake Bay Marina portfolio.

Tucked along a quiet, protected creek just minutes from the Chesapeake Bay, this opportunity offers more than just a job. This is a hands-on technician role supporting a range of service work across multiple systems.

You’ll be responsible for:

• Diagnosing and repairing marine engines and systems
• Working with inboard and outboard engines
• Troubleshooting mechanical, electrical, plumbing, and HVAC systems
• Completing routine service and preventative maintenance
• Supporting a clean, organized, and efficient service operation
• Supporting the operations of the yard as needed, including travel lift operation
• Winterizing and commissioning

We’re looking for technicians who are confident in their abilities and take pride in their work.

• 3+ years of hands-on marine service experience
• Strong troubleshooting and diagnostic skills across multiple systems
• Experience with Mercury/Mer Cruiser and Yanmar engines
• Exposure to plumbing and HVAC systems is highly valued
• Ability to work independently and contribute to a team
• Ability to operate a marine travel lift
