Entry-Level Measurement Technician is an entry-level position responsible for supporting accurate measurement, monitoring, and reporting of oil and gas production volumes. Working under close supervision, the technician assists with field data collection, routine inspections, and basic maintenance and calibration of measurement equipment including flow meters, gauges, and flow computers used in production, processing, and pipeline operations. The technician learns to ensure data integrity, support allocation and balancing processes, and helps maintain compliance with company standards and regulatory requirements.

This role also assists in troubleshooting measurement equipment, documenting calibration and inspection activities, and maintaining accurate records within company systems. Working in field environments, the technician follows all safety, environmental, and operational procedures while developing technical skills and industry knowledge. This position provides foundational experience in measurement operations and serves as a pathway to more advanced roles within the measurement discipline.
