Meiers Mechanical is seeking an experienced HVAC Lead Service Technician to diagnose, repair, and maintain residential and light commercial heating and cooling systems across the Kansas City metro. In this role, you'll lead service calls, mentor junior technicians, ensure code compliance, and communicate clearly with customers about repair options and maintenance plans. You'll troubleshoot furnaces, air conditioners, heat pumps, and ventilation systems, perform start ups, and complete detailed service documentation.

Responsibilities

  • Lead residential and light commercial HVAC service calls
  • Diagnose, repair, and maintain heating, cooling, and ventilation systems
  • Perform system start-ups, testing, and preventive maintenance
  • Ensure work meets code, safety, and quality standards
  • Communicate findings, options, and pricing clearly to customers
  • Prepare accurate service tickets and documentation
  • Mentor and support junior and apprentice technicians
  • Coordinate with dispatch and office staff on scheduling and parts
  • Recommend system upgrades and maintenance plans
  • Represent Meiers Mechanical professionally in the field
