Location: Gilcrest

Meiers Mechanical seeks an Electrical Manager to lead the electrical scope of residential and light commercial HVAC projects across the Kansas City metro. You'll plan and oversee wiring, panels, and power for new installs and retrofits, ensure NEC and local code compliance, and perform advanced troubleshooting. This hands-on leader will mentor techs, coordinate with project managers and inspectors, and uphold our service-focused culture of craftsmanship, punctuality, and honest communication while helping grow our team and technical capabilities.

Responsibilities

  • Lead and supervise electrical scope of residential and light commercial HVAC installation projects
  • Plan, layout, and oversee wiring, panels, disconnects, and equipment power for new and retrofit systems
  • Perform advanced troubleshooting and repair of electrical components on HVAC equipment
  • Ensure all electrical work complies with NEC, local codes, and company safety standards
  • Coordinate with project managers, field technicians, and inspectors to keep jobs on schedule
  • Train and mentor technicians and apprentices on safe and proper electrical practices
  • Review site conditions, material needs, and drawings to prepare accurate work plans
  • Conduct quality checks on completed work and resolve punch-list items promptly
  • Maintain detailed documentation of work performed, parts used, and code compliance
  • Support estimating and quoting by providing electrical scope input and field assessments

Required Skills
