Electrical Manager

Meyer Mechanical seeks an Electrical Manager to lead the electrical scope of residential and light commercial HVAC projects across the Kansas City metro. You'll plan and oversee wiring, panels, and equipment hookups; perform hands-on troubleshooting; and ensure NEC and local code compliance. This role mentors field staff, coordinates schedules and materials, and partners with project managers to deliver safe, high quality installs.

Responsibilities

• Lead and supervise electrical aspects of residential and light commercial HVAC projects, ensuring code compliance and safety.
• Plan, schedule, and allocate electrical work for install, retrofit, and service jobs to meet deadlines and budget targets.
• Perform hands-on electrical troubleshooting, wiring, panel work, and equipment hookups for HVAC systems.
• Review prints, specs, and load requirements; coordinate with project managers and HVAC installers to avoid conflicts.
• Inspect completed work, perform quality checks, and verify systems start-up, grounding, and protection devices.
• Train and mentor electricians and HVAC technicians on electrical best practices and NEC requirements.
• Maintain accurate job documentation, material lists, and redlines; report progress and issues to leadership.
• Interface with customers and inspectors, explaining work performed and addressing concerns professionally.
