Jet Vac Operator

Pro-Vac, a leading infrastructure maintenance and environmental services company in Puyallup, WA, is seeking a Jet Vac Operator to support critical sewer, storm, and utility projects across the Pacific Northwest. In this field-based role, you'll operate modern jet vac and hydro excavation trucks to clean pipelines, catch basins, and structures while upholding strict safety and environmental standards. You'll perform equipment inspections, assist with traffic control, document work, and collaborate closely with a safety-first, team-oriented crew that takes pride in high-quality, reliable work.

Responsibilities

• Operate jet vac and hydro excavation trucks for sewer and storm system cleaning
• Perform safe jetting, vacuuming, and debris removal around utilities and infrastructure
• Complete pre- and post-trip inspections and basic equipment maintenance
• Follow strict safety, traffic control, and environmental procedures on job sites
• Read work orders, follow directions from foreman, and document work performed
• Communicate professionally with team members, supervisors, and customers
• Assist with setup, hose routing, and site cleanup after projects
• Respond to changing field conditions and support emergency or after-hours work as needed
