We are looking for an experienced Facilities Maintenance Technician with strong mechanical and construction knowledge, advanced troubleshooting ability, sound judgment, and a willingness to help develop other technicians.

The Level 3 Technician is the senior technical position within our maintenance technician structure. This role handles advanced diagnostics, complex authorized repairs, preventive maintenance, emergency response, technician mentoring, contractor coordination, and asset documentation.

Compensation: $34.00-$42.00 per hour

Position Summary

As a Facilities Maintenance Technician - Level 3, I report directly to the Facilities Field Manager and serve as a senior technical resource within the Facilities Management Department.

I perform advanced troubleshooting, complex authorized repairs, preventive maintenance, inspections, and emergency response across Elk Ave Hospitality properties.

I diagnose building and equipment problems, stabilize urgent conditions, determine appropriate repair paths, and recognize when work requires a licensed or specialized contractor.

I also mentor Level 1 and Level 2 technicians and help improve the technical capability, reliability, and documentation of the Facilities team.

Advanced Troubleshooting & Repair
  • I troubleshoot mechanical, hydronic, HVAC-support, plumbing, electrical-support, appliance, controls, and building-envelope issues.
  • I identify root causes rather than simply treating symptoms.
  • I perform repairs within my demonstrated competency, company authorization, and applicable licensing requirements.
  • I determine when work requires licensed or specialty support.
  • I document findings, completed repairs, and required follow-up.
  • I communicate recurring or significant failures to the Facilities Field Manager.
