Position SummaryProvide individual and family services including counseling, therapy, and consultation on a continuum of care to children, youth, adults, and families who are experiencing serious problems that could lead to out of home placement or otherwise result in the dissolution of the family unit; AND/OR provide services to families whose children are in out-of-home placement and are working toward a case plan goal of reunification.
Services may also include therapeutic support for adults experiencing behavioral health challenges, trauma, or family conflict, with the goal of strengthening family systems and promoting overall wellness. This position is a grade E15; pay is $74,804.00/annually.
- Must have a MA/MS in Social Work, Counseling, Psychology, or related field.
- Must have knowledge of relevant models of treatment that support family preservation and family reunification.
- Must have knowledge of substance use and mental health disorders, crisis intervention methods, community resources, and rules and regulations specific to the profession.
- Must be in good standing with all appropriate professional associations or licensing agencies.
- Must have a valid driver’s license for state of residency and be insurable under the Tribal vehicle insurance policy.
- Must pass a thorough background check including Criminal History and fingerprint check.
- Must pass a pre-employment drug test.
- Familiarity with the Southern Ute Indian reservation, culture, and traditions.
- Able to speak and understand the Ute language.
