Job Overview

This position performs basic preventive maintenance on all types of mountain fleet vehicles under the guidance and direction of more skilled mechanics. The role also collaborates with the Parts Lead to manage and maintain vehicle parts inventories. We are looking for an individual that has a mechanical aptitude and a desire to learn and grow.

Starting Wage: $21.47/hr - $26.29/hr

• Snowcats
• Light Duty Trucks
• Shuttle and Transit Buses
• Small Engine Equipment

• Manage and maintain fleet vehicle parts inventories, including parts purchasing.
• Perform basic maintenance tasks on a variety of mountain fleet vehicles with guidance from Intermediate and Advanced Mechanics.
• Communicate with both internal and external customers in a timely and professional manner.
• Act as part of a team-oriented shop in a fast-paced work environment.
• Demonstrate a commitment to safety by being an active participant in a safety-oriented shop culture.
• Other duties as assigned.

• Vehicle maintenance experience, especially with types of vehicles in our fleet, or mechanical aptitude.
• Must have a valid driver’s license / clean DMV record.
• Must have the ability to lift 50 pounds regularly.
