Wagner Equipment offers a challenging career with extensive training and development. The Class A CDL Driver is responsible for loading, unloading, and delivering equipment at customer sites and branch locations while maintaining professional vehicle appearance and accurate documentation.

• Load, unload, and deliver equipment to customer sites and other branch locations.
• Maintain proper paperwork and ensure vehicle appearance meets company standards.
• Complete and maintain daily truck logs, including fuel, mileage, IFTA paperwork, and DOT logs.
• Manage day‑to‑day use of company fuel cards and report any unsafe equipment conditions.
• Keep the vehicle clean and perform daily inspections (tires, lights, signals, glass, etc.) per DOT and FMCSA requirements.
• Work with the manager to implement agreed‑upon changes and improve daily routine efficiency.
• Assist with workload in other departments or branch areas when not delivering.
• Meet customer needs and respond in a professional and courteous manner.
• Communicate with counter and shop personnel to stay informed about equipment and relevant company information.
• Act as an ambassador for the company and promote additional sales by explaining and suggesting other equipment and services.
• Conduct daily post‑trip vehicle inspections as required by FMCSA.
• Ensure vehicle readiness for next‑day business, including fueling and pre‑loads.
• Learn and demonstrate safe operation of all equipment to customers.
• Inspect equipment for damage at pick‑up, document findings, and submit damage reports to rental counter personnel.

• High School Diploma or GED.
• 3–5 years of professional driving experience.
• 3–5 years of administrative or clerical experience.
• 3–5 years of customer service experience.
• 1–3 years of working knowledge of construction equipment.

• Valid Driver's License for the state of employment.
• CDL Class A tanker certified driver's license.
• Excellent driving record with no DUI’s, suspensions, or DOT violations.

• Travel: 75%–100% required.
• Work environment may include loud noise, small or enclosed spaces, and early or late hours or weekends.
• Physical demands include standing, walking, talking, sitting, hand use, hearing, and lifting or moving objects up to 60 pounds or more.
