Delivery Driver – Auto Parts – Pagosa Springs, CO.

Company Vehicle Provided.

Hourly Rate: $16.50/h.

The Delivery Driver plays a pivotal role in our business by serving as the main point of contact with customers, ensuring accurate and timely delivery of automotive parts, and fostering strong client relationships.

• Pick up and deliver automotive parts according to assigned routes and time schedules.
• Load, transport, and deliver items to customers or businesses in a timely, friendly, and courteous manner.
• Review orders before and after delivery to ensure completeness and customer satisfaction.
• Follow directions from dispatcher, adhere to routes, and use navigation apps as needed.
• Assist with loading and unloading items from vehicles without interfering with customer operations.
• Provide excellent customer service, answer questions, and handle complaints professionally.
• Abide by all transportation laws and maintain a safe driving record.
• Accept payments, prepare reports, and reconcile all moneys collected related to deliveries.
• Complete daily maintenance checks on the company delivery vehicle and notify the manager of any issues.
• Assist in additional store/warehouse duties such as stock and parts pulling as assigned.
• Maintain and promote workplace safety.
• Secure and transfer cash or other assets as required.

• Current, valid driver’s license.
• Must be 21 years old or older and meet company insurance requirements.
• Current valid automobile insurance with your name on the policy.
• Ability to lift, move, push, and pull up to 50 pounds (75 pounds for Auto Body Parts Collision Drivers).

• Manage, track, and account for money transactions and reconcile customer credit and debt balances.
• Use a tablet or mobile device for navigation, route optimization, tracking, and customer interfaces such as signature capture.
• Exceptional verbal communication skills and professional customer interaction.
• Follow directions and work well with others in a team setting.
• Flexible schedule with willingness to work overtime as needed.
• Previous delivery driving experience is a plus.
• Must meet all of the above minimum requirements and knowledge, skills, and abilities to be eligible for the position.
