Position Summary
The primary function of a delivery driver is to safely and efficiently operate a commercial motor vehicle in compliance with company policies, Federal and State regulations, and deliver all freight undamaged. Work as a team player to deliver, load/unload materials while providing a world-class customer service experience.
Duties & Responsibilities- Inspect truck/trailer for defects ensuring safe operation.
- Safely load building materials onto flatbed or boom truck and unload products at commercial and residential job sites.
- Deliver materials to assigned areas as directed by the customer, prioritizing personal safety and the safety of others.
- Maintain records required for compliance with State and Federal regulations.
- Report all accidents involving driver or company equipment.
- High School diploma or GED.
- Valid commercial driver’s license (CDL);
Class B required, Class A preferred. - Clear three-year Motor Vehicle Report.
- Knowledge of Department of Transportation regulations.

- Remain stationary while driving a commercial vehicle 40% of the time.
- Lift heavy building materials up to 80-100 lbs for loading/unloading.
- Frequently move materials weighing up to 80 lbs during unloading and while operating a flatbed or boom vehicle.
- Judge distance while delivering materials and/or operating boom.
- Communicate with management and coworkers and exchange accurate information in all situations.
- Work constantly in an outdoor environment while making deliveries.
- Prioritize job sites and deadlines.
- Manage stress based on customer deadlines.
- Multitask and receive information and directions efficiently.
- Provide quick solutions to problems and demonstrate sound judgment.
Base hourly wage: $23.51 to $29.90 per hour. Starting wage may vary based on location, education, training, and experience. Hourly associates may be eligible for overtime and performance-based bonus programs, commissions, car allowance, automobile and fuel program, and reimbursement for travel expenses in accordance with company travel policy.
