Materials Coordinator
The Materials Coordinator supports the client's fast-paced operations by managing shipping and receiving, inventory control, and material movement across stockrooms, clean rooms, labs, and dock areas.
• Perform daily material handling and logistics activities safely and efficiently, including shipping, receiving, and inbound/outbound shipment tracking.
• Move materials to and from the stockroom to support manufacturing and engineering activities.
• Execute inventory control transactions for incoming receipts, cycle counts, material movements, and discrepancy reconciliation.
• Utilize ERP system (SAP S4 HANA) modules for Materials Management, Shipping and Receiving, and Warehouse Management per standard operating procedures.
• Collaborate with Purchasing, Engineering, Finance, and other cross-functional teams on shipment and receipt activities.
• Support asset management activities and provide guidance to stakeholders on utilization and disposal processes.
• Incorporate continuous improvement practices to enhance cycle count accuracy, asset management, and inventory controls.
• High School diploma or GED
• 3 years of experience in shipping and receiving, inventory management, and ERP systems (SAP preferred)
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office, including Excel and Power Point
• Ability to lift up to 45 lbs
• Ability to pass a pre-employment drug and alcohol test per client request
• Experience with logistics, import/export classification, and warehouse operations
• Experience preparing parts for shipment using palletizing tools (pallet jack, pallet wraps, banding)
• Experience processing shipments using UPS and Fed Ex software and scheduling pickups
• Familiarity with reporting, dashboards, and data-driven inventory analysis
• Strong verbal and written communication skills with the ability to collaborate across cross-functional teams
