Overview
Job Summary: As a Material Handler, you will play a key role in training employees on how to efficiently move products, including unloading deliveries from trucks and placing them on shelves, as well as pulling inventory and other materials from our warehouses and manufacturing facilities. You will perform these duties manually or with the assistance of equipment such as trucks and forklifts to fulfill orders.
Responsibilities- Load and unload materials in a timely and safe manner.
- Receive, unpack, check, and store merchandise or materials, entering them into the warehouse management system.
- Accurately count items, record data manually, and report any damages, shortages, or quality deficiencies.
- Inspect and identify any wear or defects in stock items, reporting findings to a manager.
- Verify inventory counts by comparing them to physical stock counts and report discrepancies.
- Maintain and update records and reports on inventory levels.
- Use hand trucks, forklifts, or other equipment to transport materials to and from trucks or designated areas.
- Stage materials, products, parts, and supplies for various workstations.
- Ensure the organization and cleanliness of the production area and warehouse.
- Pack, crate, and ship products and materials as needed.
- Stock and store items in an orderly and accessible manner to maintain a safe environment.
- Inspect machinery and equipment for maintenance needs and perform regular safety checks.
- Operate forklifts to pick, stock, and receive shipments of materials.
- May be required to operate a company vehicle for retrieving stock from suppliers.
- Train and mentor less experienced Material Handlers (Level I and II).
- Ability to lift up to 50 pounds.
- Ability to stand, bend, twist, walk, sit, and occasionally reach or squat.
- Ability to perform physical tasks that include lifting, pushing, pulling, grasping, and gripping.
- Work may be indoors or outdoors, depending on assignment.
- Indoor environments may include exposure to cold, heat, dust, fumes, and machinery.
- Outdoor environments may expose employees to rain, extreme temperatures, and loud noises.
- Safety equipment such as glasses, gloves, and hearing protection will be required.
- MHI - $20-$24 per hour
- MHII - $22- $27 per hour
- MHIII - $25-$34 per hour
All applicants' experience will be evaluated, and salary will be determined based on the level offered at the time of hire.

Education and Experience- High School Diploma, GED, or equivalent.
- Minimum of 1 year of forklift driving experience.
- Forklift certified.
- Experience in a warehouse, stockroom, and/or storage yard.
- Safety: Strong adherence to safety guidelines, with the ability to identify hazards and suggest safety improvements.
- Conceptual
