Shipping Receiving Clerk

Job Summary

We are seeking a reliable and detail‑oriented Shipping and Receiving Clerk to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for managing the flow of goods within our distribution center, ensuring timely and accurate delivery to our customers. This role is essential to the smooth operation of our warehouse and requires a strong focus on organization and customer service.

• Manage inventory levels and maintain accurate records of goods received and shipped.
• Operate forklifts and reach trucks to load and unload goods from trucks, trailers, and warehouse shelves.
• Pick and pack orders using warehouse management systems and e-commerce platforms.
• Utilize basic math skills to count and verify orders.
• Conduct quality control checks on goods received and ensure they meet quality standards.
• Load and unload goods from trucks and trailers.
• Maintain a clean and organized warehouse environment.
• Perform duties in a fast‑paced and dynamic environment.
• Collaborate with warehouse staff to ensure efficient order picking and packing.
• Stay up‑to‑date with company inventory levels and communicate changes to the warehouse team.
• Operate AS400 and other warehouse management systems to manage inventory and track orders.

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Experience in a warehouse or distribution center environment preferred.
• Knowledge of warehouse management systems and e‑commerce platforms.
• Ability to operate forklifts, reach trucks, and other heavy machinery.
• Basic math skills and attention to detail.
• Ability to lift and move heavy packages.
• Ability to work in a fast‑paced and dynamic environment.
• Excellent customer service skills.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Familiarity with AS400 and other warehouse management systems.
• Experience with order picking and loading/unloading of goods.
