Receiving Clerk

We are seeking a Lumber Receiving Clerk to support and improve daily receiving processes. The Receiving Clerk plays a key role in keeping inventory accurate and yard operations running smoothly. Responsibilities Schedule trucking appointments and coordinate incoming deliveries Receive incoming materials and verify accuracy against purchase orders and packing slips Work with Accounts Payable to resolve invoice discrepancies Investigate and report shortages, damages, or mis-shipments Request and maintain Proof of Deliveries (PODs) Conduct daily yard walks and assist with yard and inventory reports Create and manage freight purchase orders Monitor and update order status

Skills and Qualifications Strong math skills for accurate quantity and unit calculations High attention to detail and accuracy in documentation Ability to maintain organized and up-to-date records Clear communication skills for working with vendors, drivers, purchasing, and accounting Strong organizational skills with the ability to multitask in a fast-paced yard environment Experience in receiving is helpful but not required

Hours:

8:00 AM – 5:00 PM Pay: $20–$22/hr DOE KPG
