Regional Operations Manager – Transport Refrigeration Services Job Type: Full-Time Transport Refrigeration Services (TRS) is seeking a highly driven Regional Operations Manager to oversee multiple service locations, manage a team of Operations Managers, and ensure top-tier shop performance. This leadership role focuses on driving operational efficiency, controlling costs, and ensuring compliance with both TRS and customer requirements.

Extensive travel required to visit shop locations, conduct audits, mentor managers and support operations.

Qualifications

Extensive travel required

Experience as a Service Manager, Operations Manager, or General Manager in truck, trailer, or transport refrigeration maintenance

Strong leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills

Proficient with Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook)
Valid driver’s license

High school diploma or equivalent (college degree a plus)
Ability to lift 25 lbs, work in shop environments, and adapt to varying conditions️Work Environment & Physical Demands Moderate noise levels; occasional exposure to fumes or airborne particles

Frequent sitting, standing, bending, twisting, and lifting

Ability to drive long distances and travel by air frequently

Key Responsibilities Lead and mentor Operations Managers across multiple locations

Oversee shop performance, P&L, and cost efficiency

Conduct bi-annual shop audits and track compliance with company and customer standards

Ensure technician training and certification requirements are met Support new shop start-ups, from hiring to full operational readiness

Approve expense reports, vacation schedules, and disciplinary actions

Serve as backup for Operations Managers when needed

Drive improvements in safety, customer satisfaction, and operational processes
