Specialty Care Registered Nurse Critical Care - Per Diem
OverviewArrowhead Regional Medical Center (ARMC) is looking for experienced Per Diem Critical Care Registered Nurses who will be assigned to the Neonatal Intensive Care Unit (NICU). This position is responsible for providing direct patient care during all phases of care in the procedural area and will plan, evaluate, and implement patient care according to accepted standards of practice.
Conditions of EmploymentPre-Employment Process: Applicants selected for these positions must pass a background investigation, drug test, verification of employment history and education.
Per Diem: Per Diem Nurses are not Regular Positions within the County, and there should be no expectation of continued employment or guaranteed hours.
Availability: Twenty-four (24) hour responsibility; on-call and call-back, rotating, weekend and holiday coverage may be required.
Sponsorship: San Bernardino County is not able to consider candidates who will require visa sponsorship at the time of application or in the future.
Licensing, Experience, and CertificationLicense: Must possess and maintain Registered Nurse licensure with the State of California Board of Registered Nursing.
Experience: One (1) year of full-time equivalent experience as a licensed registered nurse.
Certification: Must possess and maintain current Healthcare Provider level Basic Life Support (BLS) certification and must possess and maintain the following unit specific certifications/courses required to work in the NICU:
- Neonatal Intensive Care Course (16-30 hour course)
- Advanced Neonatal Resuscitation (NPR)
Candidates possessing a Bachelor's degree in Nursing and experience in a Neonatal Intensive Care Unit are desired.
