- Specialty Critical Care who will serve as a Charge Nurse in the Cath Lab or Cardiology Units. Under direction, plans, assigns, directs and reviews the work of professional and technical staff engaged in patient care at the Arrowhead Regional Medical Center on a designated shift; performs related duties as required. ARROWHEAD REGIONAL MEDICAL CENTER Located on a beautiful 70-acre campus in Colton, California (50 miles east of Los Angeles), Arrowhead Regional Medical Center (ARMC) is a state-of-the-art, public/nonprofit, 456-bed, university affiliated teaching hospital licensed by the State of California Department of Public Health and accredited by The Joint Commission.

The hospital houses a regional burn center serving four counties (San Bernardino, Riverside, Mono and Inyo), a comprehensive stroke center, level I trauma center and a freestanding in-patient behavioral health center. Additionally, ARMC operates five community-based, primary care clinics and over 40 specialty care outpatient services. ARMC is the primary teaching hospital for the adjacently located California University of Science and Medicine (CUSM), the Inland Empire's newest medical school.

Minimum Requirements

Applicants must possess all the following:
License:
Must possess and maintain Registered Nurse licensure with the State of California Board of Registered Nursing.

Experience:

Two (2) years of full-time equivalent experience as a licensed registered nurse in which three (3) months must be in Cath Lab or Cardiac Services. Certification:
Must possess and maintain current Healthcare Provider level Basic Life Support (BLS) certification and must possess and maintain the following unit specific certifications/courses required to work in Cath Lab or Cardiology Unit:
Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) NIH Stroke Scale Certification Critical Care Course or Critical Care RN Certification

Desired Qualifications

The ideal candidate will have a Bachelor's degree in Nursing, Business, Healthcare Administration or related field and at least two (2) years of experience working in an acute hospital in a Cath Lab or Cardiology Unit.
