The JobArrowhead Regional Medical Center (ARMC) is recruiting for a Nursing Program Coordinator who will participate in quality improvement activities and support the ongoing development and effectiveness of the TAVR program. The Nursing Program Coordinator will coordinate and oversee the Transcatheter Aortic Valve Replacement (TAVR) program, including patient care coordination, education, quality metrics, data, and registries for procedures. Responsibilities include coordinating patient referrals, authorizations, and procedures;
providing education and support to patients and families; and facilitating communication among patients, families, physicians, clinical staff, and external partners.

Located on a beautiful 70-acre campus in Colton, California (50 miles east of Los Angeles), Arrowhead Regional Medical Center (ARMC) is a state-of-the-art, public/nonprofit, 456-bed, university affiliated teaching hospital licensed by the State of California Department of Public Health and accredited by The Joint Commission. The hospital houses a regional burn center serving four counties (San Bernardino, Riverside, Mono and Inyo), a comprehensive stroke center, level I trauma center and a freestanding in-patient behavioral health center.
Additionally, ARMC operates five community-based, primary care clinics and over 40 specialty care outpatient services. ARMC is the primary teaching hospital for the adjacently located California University of Science and Medicine (CUSM), the Inland Empire’s newest medical school.

CONDITIONS OF EMPLOYMENTPre-Employment Process:
Incumbents must pass a background investigation, which includes fingerprinting, work history and education verification, as well as a job-related physical exam and drug screening.
Schedule:
The current vacancy is for Day Shift, Monday through Friday. However, flexibility is required.
Certifications:
Additional certifications may be required depending on the needs of the department.

- License:
Must possess and maintain licensure as a Registered Nurse with the State of California Board of Registered Nursing. - Certification:
Must possess and maintain an Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) and Healthcare Provider level Basic Life Support (BLS) certification. - Experience:
Three (3) years of experience as a registered nurse in an acute care hospital with one (1) year working in a Cath Lab Unit. Experience may be concurrent.
The ideal candidate will have three (3) years of experience working in a Cath Lab Unit and possess experience in acute care settings.
