Aegis Worldwide is partnered with a manufacturing client who is looking to add an HR Coordinator to their team. The HR Coordinator – Talent Acquisition & Operations plays a critical role in supporting the Human Resources function within a fast-paced manufacturing plant. This position will lead the coordination and operational setup of Talent Acquisition (TA) processes to support hourly and salaried hiring needs, while also providing general HR administrative support.
This role is ideal for a highly organized, execution-focused HR professional who can build structure, streamline recruiting workflows, and partner closely with operations leaders to ensure efficient, compliant, and timely hiring.
Key Responsibilities Talent Acquisition Coordination & Setup- Coordinate full‑cycle recruiting activities for hourly production, skilled trades, and salaried roles.
- Build and standardize TA workflows, including requisition intake, job postings, screening processes, interview scheduling, and offer administration.
- Partner with hiring managers to understand workforce needs, production ramp‑ups, and workforce planning.
- Develop structured interview guides and selection processes aligned with plant requirements.
- Manage candidate tracking and ensure accurate documentation within the Applicant Tracking System (ATS).
- Establish reporting dashboards for time‑to‑fill, turnover, candidate pipeline health, and hiring metrics.
- Coordinate background checks, drug screens, pre‑employment testing, and onboarding documentation.
- Support the creation of local sourcing strategies including job fairs, community partnerships, and workforce agencies.
- Ensure compliance with all employment laws, EEO requirements, and company hiring policies.
- Coordinate new hire orientation and onboarding for production and salaried employees.
- Ensure all required documentation (I‑9s, tax forms, policy acknowledgments) is completed accurately and on time.
- Partner with Safety and Operations to ensure smooth first‑day integration and training alignment.
- Track onboarding completion and early retention metrics.
- Maintain employee records and HRIS data accuracy.
- Support employee relations documentation and administrative processes.
- Assist with payroll coordination, attendance tracking, and workforce reporting as needed.
- Provide administrative support for HR initiatives, engagement activities, and compliance audits.
- Help implement process improvements to enhance efficiency within plant HR operations.
- Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or related field (or equivalent experience).
- 2+ years of HR or recruiting coordination experience in a manufacturing environment.
- Experience supporting high‑volume hourly recruiting.
- Strong organizational and project coordination skills.
- Working knowledge of employment laws and hiring compliance requirements.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office and HRIS/ATS systems.
- Experience building or improving recruiting processes.
- Exposure to workforce planning in a production environment.
- Bilingual (English/Spanish) a plus.
- HR certification (e.g., SHRM‑CP, PHR) preferred.
- Operational mindset with strong attention to detail.
- Process builder and continuous improvement orientation.
- Strong communication and stakeholder partnership skills.
- Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast‑paced plant environment.
- High level of confidentiality and professionalism.
