Yoh Healthcare has a direct hire opportunity for an Occupational Health Registered Nurse in Columbia City, IN

The Occupational Health Nurse reports directly to the General Managers at their respective location and indirectly to the Occupational Health Coordinator. The successful candidate holds a valid nursing license in the state of Indiana and current certification in CPR/AEDfrom American Red Cross or AHA.

Hours:

7am- 4pm Monday-Friday

• Treatment of on-site injuries and referral to outside medical care as needed
• Case management for injured workers and facilitate return to work
• Provide medical surveillance for all employees including but not limited to annualaudiograms,spirometry, vision screening, and lead testing
• Provide medical surveillance and case management
• Conduct new hirepre-employment drug and alcohol screening & coordinate medical examinations
• Participate in ergonomics assessments and job hazard analysis
• Responsible for training employees in First Aid and CPR/AEDas medicalrespondersto aid in the care of injured workers
• Responsible for training employees inBloodborne
  
  Pathogens, Hearing Conservation, Violence in the workplace, Ergonomics and Heat Stress to meet OSHA requirements
• MaintainHIPPAcompliant documentation
• Accountable for delivery of agreed to regional health metrics and outcomes
• Purchase all supplies required for the first aid clinic
• Develop and meet site budget expectations
• Drive increased health outcomes including reducing population health risks, managing, and eliminating workplace health risks and supporting improved business outcomes through advancing employee health andwellbeing
• Willingness to work closely with the Safety Coordinators at the division level torecognizehazards and preventinjury

• Active RN license in Indiana
• On-call being requierd for after hours for injuring management. On-call is split between team
• 2 or more years hospital or clinic nursing experience in occupational (manufacturing/industrial) nursing or emergency nursing
• Excellent assessment skills in a clinical setting
• Phlebotomy
• Current CPR/AEDcertification

• Working knowledge of regulatory areas (ADA, OSHA,FMLA, Workers’ Compensation)
• CPR/AEDInstructor
• Health coaching/certification
• Certified Occupational Health Nurse
