Nationality Requirements

Position Summary

Join a team that develops and manufactures next‑generation technologies to detect stealthy adversaries and improve naval operations. As a Software Engineer at Ultra Maritime, you will lead and support both new development and legacy products.

Responsibilities
  • Provide embedded software development support to current and existing audio products.
  • Support new development and maintenance of legacy code.
  • Define requirements, design software, write code, test new and legacy code, and document all efforts.
  • Collaborate closely with Program Management, project team members, and customer representatives.
  • Participate in bi‑weekly software meetings.
  • Occasionally travel to off‑site government and non‑government test facilities.
  • Perform other duties as required.
Required Skills
  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Computer Science, or a related field.
  • 3+ years of experience in software and embedded software development for complex organizations.
  • Excellent hardware/software troubleshooting skills.
  • High level of initiative with the ability to self‑manage.
  • Ability to obtain a U.S. Government security clearance.
Desired Skills
  • C development experience.
  • Embedded Linux experience.
  • Experience with digital signal processing concepts (A/D, D/A, filters).
  • Experience with basic test equipment (multimeters, oscilloscopes, function generators, logic analyzers, spectrum analyzers).
  • IP networking experience.
