The Montana Department of Public Health and Human Services (DPHHS) at the Montana Veterans’ Home in Columbia Falls.

Medicare/Medicaid and Veterans' Administration certified facility with 105 intermediate/skilled-care beds, 12 domiciliary beds, and a 15-bed Dementia Care unit.

• Provide nursing care to residents.
• Perform nursing assessments, treatments/procedures, administer medications, coordinate care, maintain records, and provide nursing support to physicians.
• Work schedules vary; may include shift differential pay.

• Graduate of an accredited school of practical nursing.
• Currently licensed as a Practical Nurse in the State of Montana.

Work requires frequent standing and walking, some bending. Lift 50 lbs rarely, 15–20 lbs frequently, reach forward and below frequently, push/pull 60 lbs occasionally, push/pull 10–20 lbs occasionally. Ability to transfer residents safely. Adequate sight, hearing, speech. Exposure to blood, body fluids, unpleasant odors, and daily interaction with sometimes volatile residents. HBV vaccination available.

$32.50–$32.50 hourly
