• managing department inventory, pricing, merchandising, and labor and safety rules.
• ordering products and supplies and schedules work to maximize sales and gross profit.
• ensure that all new department employees receive proper training and safety instruction on all equipment in the deli
• supervision to ensure correct ordering, receiving, unloading, storage and rotation of merchandise, and building of displays
• responsible for a variety of other tasks in the store, as well as, making sure that all employees are meeting safety standards for operation.
