Primary ResponsibilitiesTo assist the Head Speech Coach in the selection, instruction, training, and conditioning of all students assigned to the Assistant Coach by the Head Coach.

Essential Functions- Coordinates, manages and facilitates school-based youth sports and activity programs.
- Provides for the health, safety, and well-being of team members.
- Promotes positive communication between coaches, activity staff, parents, students, and outside agencies.
- Integrates goals and standards of Columbia Heights schools into the sport programs and activity events.
- Completes continuing education courses, meetings, and events.
- Communicates and implements the head coach's and activity staff's vision for the program.
High school diploma or GED and moderate experience working in a coaching capacity, or equivalent combination of education and experience.
